Voluntary Commitment to Treatment Programs

Initial Denial

This program may assist the alcoholic in overcoming initial denial. It is so easy for the alcoholic to risk for himself or herself the dangers inherent in the disease.

How many times have we heard, “A few drinks won’t hurt me.”

Exposed

An alcoholic may look more deeply into his or her problem once exposed in a very personal manner to what that drinking can do to others.

The Risk

It is one thing to place yourself at risk. It is another to place innocent individuals at risk.
